A Special Appeal

The Covid pandemic was especially severely felt in Italy where everything shut down. The streets of Florence were deserted for much of the months between March and June and Carlo Frescobaldi’s films of such beautiful eery emptiness inspired us to ask him to film an appeal which we could send to our members. Asking for funds during such a challenging time was difficult but transmitting the beauty of the Bargello felt uplifting.
